Katalyst Wardrobe Competition Terms and Conditions


The Katalyst Foundation was established by Robert Cromb, one of the founders of KOOKAÏ.  Through the generous support of KOOKAI’s customers and team members we are proud to provide funding for the incredible work of Katalyst in its efforts to alleviate poverty and empower communities.

Our aim is to support and empower communities in need by giving them the essentials they need to thrive. The foundation works hard to advance the areas of education, health, social and public welfare, employment and training.

Promoters

Magi Enterprises Pty Ltd, (trading as ‘KOOKAI’) (ABN 491 544 236 13), 8-14 Hall St Hawthorn East VIC 3123 (trading as ‘KOOKAI’) and Katalyst Foundation Ltd (ABN 46 615 896 092), 8-14 Hall St Hawthorn East VIC 3123.

Entry Restrictions

Open only to residents of Australia and aged 13 or over except directors, officers, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management and employees) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition.

Competition Period

Commencing at 9:00am (AEST) on Wednesday 16th October 2024, concluding at 6:00pm (AEST) on Sunday 3rd November 2024.

Entry Method

During the Competition Period, entrants must:

Make a purchase in store and donate $1 to the Katalyst Foundation at any KOOKAÏ Australia boutique, between Wednesday 16th October 2024 and Sunday 3rd November 2024.

Scan the QR code at the store’s counter.

Contestants must provide contact details including name, email, contact number, and consent to receiving marketing material from both KOOKAÏ and Katalyst Foundation.

 

Prize

There is one (1) Prize to be won valued at up to $1000. The Prize is a $1000 KOOKAÏ gift card. The gift card is redeemable for merchandise online via kookai.com.au or in any Australian KOOKAÏ boutique. The gift card is valid for 3 years from date of issue. All other terms and conditions applying to KOOKAÏ gift cards, as displayed on the KOOKAÏ website apply.

Entry Limits

One entry per person is allowed.

Winner Notification

The winner will be notified via email with the contact details they have provided.

Prize Claim Date and Time

$1000 gift voucher will be delivered to the email address provided by the entry winner on Wednesday 6th November 2024.

Other Terms & Conditions

1. Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions.  By entering, entrants accept these conditions.

2. Entries must be received during the Competition Period.  Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are posted by the entrant. The Promoters are not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or otherwise.  Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet.  

3. This is a game of chance, and skill plays no part in determining the winner. The Promoters’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

4. The winner will be notified in accordance with the Winner Notification.

5. The Promoters may require entrants to provide proof of identity.  Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.

6. Any personal information collected as part of the competition will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with Kookai’s Privacy Policy located here: https://www.kookai.com.au/pages/privacy, and Katalyst Foundations’ Privacy Policy located here: https://katalystfoundation.org/privacy-policy/.

7. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.  Any unredeemed portion of the Prize will be forfeited. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any variation in Prize value.  If a Prize or any element of a Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoters may substitute for that Prize or element of that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoters.

8. The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

9. The winner is responsible for ensuring they provide the correct email address for delivery of the Prize, and for ensuring the security of the Prize after receipt.

10. The winner is responsible for all costs associated with accessing the Promoters’ website in order to redeem the Prize.

11. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoters, the Promoters may in their sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
