Entry Restrictions

Open only to residents of Australia, who are 18 years of age or over. Not available to directors, officers, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management and employees) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition.

Competition is open to new subscribers of the KOOKAI member’s list. Existing subscribers as at the commencement of the Competition Period are ineligible to enter.

Competition Period

Commencing at 12.01 (AEDT) on 23^rd August 2024, concluding 11.59pm (AEDT) on 8^th September 2024

Entry Method

During the Competition Period, entrants must subscribe to the KOOKAI member’s list via the sign up link.

Prize Details

There is one (1) Prize to be won. The Prize consists of an AUD$1,000 KOOKAI e-Gift Card. The Gift Card will be valid for a period of 3 years from the issue date. All other Gift Card terms and conditions will apply.

Winner Notification

The Winner will be randomly drawn by the Promoter at 8-14 Hall Street Hawthorn East, VIC 3123 Australia at 10am on 9^th September 2024. This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in deciding the Winner.

The Winner will be notified via email from the Promoter by 10am (AEDT) on 10 September 2024.

Prize Claim Date and Time

Prize will be sent to the Winner via email from the Promoter by 10am (AEDT) on 10 September 2024.

Other Terms & Conditions

1.      Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions.  By entering, entrants accept these conditions.

2.      Entries must be received during the Competition Period.  Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are submitted by the entrant. The Promoter is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or otherwise. Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet.  

3.      In entering the Competition, the entrant accepts and agrees their personal information will be collected, stored and disclosed in accordance with KOOKAÏ’s privacy policy located here.

4.      The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.      The winner will be notified in accordance with the Winner Notification. 

6.      The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of identity and address.  Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.

7       The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.  Any unredeemed portion of the prize will be forfeited. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.  If a prize or any element of a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize or element of that prize another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter.

8.      If a prize has not been accepted or claimed in accordance with the Prize Claim Date and Time or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter cannot contact the Winner by the Prize Claim Date and Time, the Winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will randomly draw another Winner. 

9.      The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). 

10.    All risk of loss or damage to the prize passes to the Winner once the Prize has been dispatched by the Promoter. The Promoter cannot be held liable or responsible for any delayed, lost or missing Prize.

11.    The Winner is responsible for ensuring they provide the correct email address for delivery of the Prize, and for ensuring the security of the Prize after receipt.

12.    The Winner is responsible for all costs associated with accessing the Promoter’s website in order to redeem the Prize.

13.    If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
